Echo, I'm surprised I'm not on The Scoville Scale, because I am HOT! 
Anyway, why do I freeze when I try and join a couple servers? Allied Powers is one of them. I wouldn't normally go into that server because a lot of those guys are power-abusing homos* but it always has people in it.
I'm not banned, as far as I know, so I should be able to join up but it never moves from the nova lobby page. Never goes to the loading screen.

I'd almost guarantee that you are caught in a range ban. AP had a couple of cheaters who constantly changed their i.p. and they couldn't keep them out of the server, so they have a program that bans a whole i.p. range, for example, 100.100.100.0-999, the whole last range is banned because the cheaters could change their i.p. within that range. So, if you're i.p. happens to be in that range, then you're banned too. It's happened to several other players as well, and if you drop a message to the AP guys in their forum and tell them your i.p. they will exclude it from the range ban. I think the "IMB Cheatfree" server also uses that same program.
