It's not important because it's rap music.
By the way, rap "music" is an oxymoron because rap cannot be called "music" on a clear conscience. It's total garbage. Takes no talent to play around with a computer, put some "beats" together, and then put some monotone rhymes together.
When rappers start playing instruments, then I'll be impressed. It's a lot harder than it seems to make beats, and it's alot harder to rap on beats then you'd think. The lyrics are MUCH more difficult than in rock, obviously. and don't even pull out the Souljaboy card, he's garbage. I really hope it's more difficult than I think because I couldn't think of it on a lower level.
And I cannot believe you just compared, favorably, rap lyrics to rock lyrics. Rock stars can't help it that every one of their songs isn't about "rollin' on 20's" and "pimpin'". I guess they're doomed to actually make something out of their songs... show some sympathy.
I should "smite" you 10,000 times for that F up but instead I'll just send you an envelope of anthrax and call it even.

I told you not to pull the soldjaboy card lol; not all rappers rap about 20s and hoes. When people say hiphop is dieing they use those rappers as an example.
The anthrax thing made me think of the Chappelle's Show where Tyrone Biggums thinks he finds crack in an envelope and starts snorting it.. hahaha.

sorry echo i dont listen to people scream in the mic until my ears bleed.. or i dont listen to gay good Charlotte or fall out boy or all those gay bands.. i acually do listen to some rock bands, but i like rap better.. ill emphasize "I" for you You see, even though I don't listen to scream-o or emo garbage I will play Devil's advocate and say, at least the music has more feeling in it than rap "music".
You know who was a rap prodigy? Ignore that "rap prodigy" is an oxymoron since "prodigy" refers to something that takes talent. Dr. Seuss! He did what rappers do, at a higher level than anyone. He rhymed words like there was no tomorrow. He also, like any rapper, made up words or spelled them incorrectly just so they would rhyme. He's BRILLIANT!
No one will ever convince me that rap "music" is difficult to produce. Just like I won't convince all your brainwashed, "reverse Oreo", minds that every other music in existence is better.

^Soljaboy card, again.
I bet you that if me and Spanky got together we could make a better rock song then you and Tox getting together and making a rap song. Not every rapper is awful (soljaboy, MIMS^, etc). Even other rappers hate them, because they make the rap genre look terrible (like how you guys are using bad rappers as an example).
Besides, the lyrics that you are making fun of Tox, are the same kind of lyrics in a rock song.
4 bars hook 4 bars hook 4 bars hook
^Man, it must be tough to think up ALL those lyrics.

Yes, they are making rap look so bad.
Yet, they are at the top of the charts. Not the "true rappers".

You're absolutely correct about you and Spanks vs. me and tox. You know why? You're white... and so are we. We didn't grow up in the slums so we can't use the rapper trump cards that are, gang violence and bling bling.
That's why I don't understand how you guys can stand rap music... you can't relate to it so what's the point in listening? I love music that I can understand as a part of life. I didn't live the "Thug Life" and neither did you so how is it enjoyable to listen to someone talk about ghetto life from your two story suburban home?
And when talking about the simplicity of rock songs you forget that the members of rock bands play the music that their lyrics are sung to. Who plays the "music" that rap "lyrics" are accompanied by? Is it computers? Guess who hates Linkin Park...
Either way, I'm not bashing your choice in music just to bash it. I'm bashing it because I cannot comprehend how it's enjoyable and how you can, on a clear conscience, say it's more difficult to produce than rock music.

you guys have the stereotypical mind when it comes to rap... not all rap is IM A GANGSTER THAT SMOKES WEED AND GETS HOES AND JACKS OFF... honestly, i dont even really listen to the lyrics, i listen to the beats, and im a devoted Christian and i don't listen to all rap because as you know, so lyrics are like that... some rap music is the lifestyle though, for example... i *used* to tag (graffiti) but i quit, for many reasons. anyways when you think of taggin rap comes to mind, at least to me.. so i would listen to a lot of rap during the time period i would tag.. and also, some rap music just has beats to it that gets you hyped up... i cant go to a club for example and dance to rock music... i need something upbeat

I leave this debate, not in defeat, but because arguing with Echo is like arguing with a God/computer hybrid that has an argument and answer for everything.
Hahaha.
