Ok guys i need some inspiration to keep making maps. So i want everyone to throw some map ideas to me. Think of the wildest or craziest things u could imagine to go in a map. Exeptions are limited to what items df2 has to offer. So dont say a hooters or strip club, just something youd like to see done. Everyone knows i only make arena maps because i find most df2 objects other than what can be used as a hiding spot or something u can use as an advantage in any match weather it be dm or tkoth kinda dull and old. So start throwing map odeas out there and well see what happnes. Id also like to throw together a team made arena map set from dk1. If your willing to participate say so here. Ill start out an arena and pass the mis file out. One person works on the map passes and the next puts there ideas out and so on. I think if we do this it will be the best map set in df2 history. One mind is great but multiple minds together will blow your mind away. So lets get this thing started so well have some fresh ground to bloody with anyone who crosses our path's blood. And lets not forget each other id like to see how we play against each other with everyone knowing the maps good points. Plus with our no way out tournament it would be nice to have some arenas there that were produced by all of dk1.

the arena map set sounds good, i'd be willing to throw some of my maps in there, and as far as ideas are concerned i come up with all of mine at work Just look at random objects around u and u can come up with some crazy stuff. BTW we need to start up the mapmakers contest again

I dont like to just make whats on my mind personally because i belive everyone should have some input. For one reason it makes the map theme more interesting. That and if u do a chain map your not the only one creating it so you no longer have all the advantage you would otherwise.

Let's play that map game C. Start up a map, send it around, and we'll add our ideas to it. Should be fun.
Also may be fun to have map contests to pick the best custom maps to use in tourneys.

+ - keys on the num pad is what i use there bro. U can also turn walls and objects to be able to see them more clearly and have more room to zoom in to make a perfect fit. Or theres always bubbachucks numerical move tutorial over at mmh. But be warned numerical move is used mainly for walls and i never use it personaly i prefer old trial and error mode myself.

u can also use the pg up and down keys, but turn down the movement setting(should be in top left corner with the starting number being 512m which moves u over that much and is very inconvenient when zoomed up nice and close, 32 is wat i recommend when properly placing walls
