Someone mentioned people who are "in the know" about sports teams. I just happen to be one of those people. I just happen to be "in the know" about every Minnesota sports team. This is a typical Minnesota sports team's meeting:
"Well everyone I've called this meeting to touch base and reassure everyone that we're still settling for mediocricy... Can everyone verify this?"
"Yes sir, I believe our team still falls in said range of "mediocricy"."
"Excellent! Meeting adjourned."
I know bio happens to be a fan of the Minnesota Vikings so this should really hit him in the nuts squarely. The Minnesota Vikings happen to be a team, and I say this unbiased, on the verge of greatness. They have THE best D-line in the NFL. They have THE best running back in the NFL. Their LB corpes and secondary are top of the line. The have a deep speed threat in Berrian, consistency in Rice, and a TE that's a big threat and improving quickly. What's missing?
It just so happens that they are in need of the most important position on the field... QB! So what do the Vikings do? They go out of their way to avoid any talent whatsoever and trade for Sage "Mutha Fackin" Rosenfels. They avoid a proven game manager in Jeff Garcia. He's old, 39, but proven and would take them deep into the playoffs. Thats a 100% guarantee.
Now the most disappointing event of current Vikings history. We have ridiculous cap room. INSANE! Especially after deciding not to push Houzmanzada into signing with us. Now Jay Cutler is being a whiny little B and demands a trade. Minnesota seems to be a perfect fit but guess what... they hate their fans so much they won't make the push that this prima donna Cutler wants to see. He'll sign with the Lions and him and CJ will tattoo the league for years.
Either way the Patriots will win the Super Bowl after Peppers turns their defense into the NFL's QB molesting monster.
That's right! I'm in the know!
