Speaking of Donnie Darko- the new game Gears of War's song of the commercial is "Mad World" by Gary Jules.

Did someone speak of Donnie Darko? Don't remember. Anyway, yeah I've loved that song since I first heard it. Gary Jules actually redid the song. Originally by Tears for Fears who sang "Shout". Great song(not "Shout"... I hate that song).

does anyone know what movie im talking about, i dont remmeber great detail its been years since iv seen it, its not planet of the apes, but anyways what i remmeber is i belive there was like a group of people exploreing or on a expedition or something like that, and i belive they was in the jungle and they come across like a temple thing, well later in the movie there are a bunch of apes trying to kill them, or something like a ape, it was ape like but they had like fang teeth i think, and i think i recall their eyes glowed red or something, but they was trying to kill the group of people etc, anyways its a really good movie but i dont know the name, anyone got any ideas?

^ What he said... deifnitely.
Saw "The Illusionist". Very good movie. Not as good as "The Prestige" but definitely worth seeing. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen in theaters lately.

I know a lot of you hve already seen them, but I watched Hostel and A History of Violence. I was kinda disappointed in both movies, especially Hostel, which wasa huge waste of 2 hours of my time. Sorry to any fans of it, but it really wasn't what I was anticipating. I expected some really shocking scenes from what I'd heard but it really wasn't that gory. Maybe I've just field dressed too many deer, lol.

Yeah, I've been so desensitized by all those Japanese people I've "field dressed".
Anyway, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 was pretty gorey, more so than Hostel I thought.
What you think about History of Violence? I thought it was pretty much crap the first time I saw it. Second time was better but it is way too slow of a story and the best word to descirbe it was "blahhhh".
Just saw Donnie Darko, A Scanner Darkly, and Fearless. Have seriously never seen Donnie Darko until yesterday.
Will have to watch Donnie Darko again because the more I think about it the less I remember and can figure out. The story is great, the idea of the story is great, but I really don't have it figured out. I'm pretty sure no one has it figured out completely. Good movie though.
A Scanner Darkly was a bad choice to watch right before Donnie Darko because it has the same wide-open ending and is also weird as shiz. It's about a guy that works for the government(Keeanu Reeves) and is trying to stop the use and manufacturing of a drug called Substance D. Turns out he is addicted to the substance he's trying to control. Anyway, the company he is working for assigns him(the agent) to 24 hours surveillance on himself(the addict). This is made possible by a suit all agents wear(scramble suit) that makes it impossible to identify the person wearing one. Can't really explain much without giving stuff away. Anyway, it's pretty funny, has lots of twists, but is so trippy I think you would have to be high yourself to actually know what's going on.
Fearless is pretty much just an awesome martial arts movie that actually has a story to it. Good movie if you like martial arts movies.
Oh, saw Apocalypto and it was an amazing movie. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. About a guy named Jaguar Paw and his family during the Mayan period. Very intense, kind of violent(like beheadings and stuff). Highly recommend this movie.
