Download the patch from novaworld. novalogic.com/download/nlexepatcher.htmlThen, if you do not use the DF2 favs program, I believe thats all you have to do, but if you use df2 favs, then this is what you got to do next. Open your DF2 favs, go to tools and cb config. Click auto update, then install game files, then the little white notebook with the pencil lookin thing, click that, click test, then ok. Then open DF2 favs again, click settings, ( next to player ) and click download config. Now you should see servers on df2 favs.

I was about ready to pull my hair out after having painstakingly gone though the process of applying the new patch and then updating CB and yet still getting "Modified Game Files" errors, even after reinstalling DF2 and Faves/CB. Then I found the problem. I have used the Glock Mod, Blood Mod, Grenade Mod, and Rambo Knives Mod ever since they were released over at Mapmakers Heaven: www.mapmakersheaven.org/index.php?page=mods These mods were made after the original CB and were created to be compatible with it. Through trial and error, I found that the grenade mod and the Rambo Knives mod is NOT compatible with the new CB, but the Glock and Blood mods are (the game hud mods are compatible as well). This is probably because the Glock is originally in your DF2 files (just needed to be "unlocked" which is what the mod does) and the Blood mod just increases the size of the red mist. However, the grenade and knife "skins" aren't original game files, so that's probably why they are triggering CB. I don't really know how many people used these, but if you are still getting CB errors try uninstalling those mods and hopefully your problems will go away.
