All those states are either huge for hunting or pretty big.

Or pretty paranoid...... i.e. Montana. I'm pretty sure that's where the "Patriot Movement" is centrally located.
You know, look out, because the U.N. will be taking over the U.S. and instituting the New World Order. We will all be required to register at our local Post Office and all undesireables will be shipped to the gulags in railcars.

Children of men was awesome. But if you miss some of it, you can be a little confused.

I enjoyed the movie as well, but I'm a sucker for that type of movie, as long as it isn't too over the top.

Did you get a shot at it? You may have discovered a new species that would have been named after you, "Giganticus Mutatis Zeusis Squirrelis", better known as the Giant Mutated Zeus Squirrell.

I shoot everything I see with my bow.
I shot a dog once.
But it was chasing deer.
Then at dawn I heard a kid calling his dog "Jake" to come home.

Well I've shot my fair share of dogs in the past. The "wild dogs" around here sometimes interbreed with coyotes and the offspring are pretty aggressive towards baby deer and baby cows. I've shot quite a few dogs and "coydogs" that were harrassing my dad's cow herd.
The most memorable time was when I nailed 3 out of a 4 dog pack. I had my Marlin Bolt Action .22 Magnum (nice gun, stainless steel, synthetic stock, bull barrell...I digress). I saw these two dogs in a field, shot one which started spinning in circles, another one came up out of the creek bed and I shot it and it dropped, and the 3rd one was on the run when I nailed it and it started spinning. I shot it again, then jacked a fresh round in and shot the first that was still spinning. The 4th one made it to the woods right as I got it in my scope. This probably all happened in under 5 or 6 seconds, and I was pretty amazed at my speed and skill, lol ........ AKA LUCK!
Anyway, before anyone gets mad and calls me a dog murderer, these were NOT pet dogs, but mangy, nasty, skinny mutts who had missing fur and were so thin you could see their bones under their skin and they were about half wild and had been harrassing the baby calves.
